🌳 Got to spend the day at Avenham Park today for Preston City Council.πŸ‘ŒRemoving a condemned Horse Chestnut and condemned Ash tree. Both in the later stages of some serious decay. We also carried out a reduction on a largely included copper beech to prolong its life. The focus was weight reduction and thinning. @athertooni did an awesome job, and made light work of it πŸ’ͺwith a few kind words of encouragement from the rest of usπŸ˜….Great effort by all involved. Cheers Boys. ... See MoreSee Less

#savethebees 🐝Another one bites the dust......Today task. another mature Ash tree fallen victim to Ash Die Back. We had initially discussed with our client to leave a habitat pole.To our surprise there where already a bunch of beautiful honey bees 🐝 hibernating in the stem of the tree so we ended up leaving a slightly taller Habitat pole. Our client was reluctant to the see tree go, but had been instructed by the council to remove the tree. Given that it was over a busy road and and was already in a severe state of decline it was the most sensible option. And leaving a habitat pole like this is still incredibly safe and acceptable form of tree removal it just means the tree can keep on giving for that little bit longerπŸ‘πŸ˜Š plus who doesn't love saving Bees πŸ˜‰ If you have any concern or would any advice regarding Ash Die Back please get in touch.....πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡www.treecareextraordinaire.co.uk ...
