We where contracted to carry out a heavy reduction on this very mature beech tree, that had previously part failed due the large included union. This would reduce the chance of any future potential failures. Although it is not likely that the tree will regenerate from such drastic pruning, it will however host and create habitat for a large variety of birds, insects and fungi for many years to come.
We determined the safest and most efficient way to carry out this work was to contract one of the industries leading MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) Owner/Operators Myers Tree Care of Higher Myers. Along with our friends at @suttoncranehire made for a truly seamless operation and real spectacle from start to finish
We where first contracted to carry out a large heavy reduction on this very very large mature Poplar. Upon starting works and closer inspection it was determined the the tree needed to be removed due to a large basal cavity on the negative side of the tree, this would prevent any catastrophic failures.
Again given the trees shear size and potential risk involved we contracted our friend Higher Myers to carry out the the Aerial tasks, using his 25 metre MEWP, as alway Dave didn’t fail to impress. Goes to to show was 25+ years experience can do
